Who is the beneficiary of the Hummelstown Hunger Run?

The Hummelstown Hunger Run was created to raise money for the Hummelstown Food Pantry while providing a quality, competitive, and fun event for our participants. All proceeds benefit the Hummelstown Food Pantry, which:

has annual expenses of $60,000 - $70,000
-
has 230+ families (329 adults, 233 children, and 96 seniors) registered who qualify for food assistance within the 17036 ZIP code.

serves 95-110 families weekly.

provides each family with turkey and special fixings at Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas

receives new applications for aid weekly

is completely staffed and managed by volunteers

​​I would like to be a sponsor for your event. How much of my donation goes to the Hummelstown Food Pantry? Who do I contact?

100% of your monetary sponsorship donation goes directly to the Hummelstown Food Pantry which is directed, supervised, and managed solely by volunteers from the Hummelstown area community. Sponsor-provided gift certificates are awarded to participants and volunteers who bring non-perishable food items to the event for the pantry.
